Welcome to Davidson Early College High School where we are one degree different the one degree difference means what makes you unique makes us extraordinary are you a good fit there is no perfect student in our book that there are some qualities that our student body. are you highly motivated goal-oriented are you mature student you enjoy working with others and small-group settings do you like to use technology to Showcase your creativity you see Gregor in the classroom do you why is the challenge has exceeded expectations including teams engineering club trivia Fest Debate Club mediatek team yearbook and student government you also get the opportunity to join and participate in more than 30 active ddcc clubs and activities such as Spring Fling and Fall Fest unfortunately due to the nature of our Program scheduling we are unable to provide athletic opportunities band or transportation however a dissipate intramural sports offered by dtcc can you please introduce yourself graduate I'll get tears off college and have you been adjusting over the time that you've been on campus at school and not all of it at home so that's really helpful how is the support system here at the program really good and helps you if you have a grade below and 80 and if you do like really a focus on you and try to help you to create a week can you please enter make yourself do you feel your high school classes have prepared you for college school culture and atmosphere level so small everyone's like family and they're very supportive of each other can you please introduce yourself how do you feel you have changed since during this program random person I take him a few leadership roles it's definitely boosted my character what are some things you have learned during your time here especially on how to lead and how to become more of my own person it's definitely a very pause experience what are some challenges that you've had to overcome during your time here in your time working through it and making sure that you do put yourself too hard and what opportunities have been offered to you by the college was that a lie and you know every month or so and the courtyard it's definitely very fun and fasting and definitely something exclusive still here at the CDC saying can you please enter and what made you want to join the program I wanted to join the around because I wanted a fresh start and I wanted a program that would academically challenged me in a way I had it done before how do you think taking college classes early has affected your work ethic I think it's definitely giving me a better work ethic I think the transition from middle school. obviously you're going to have a more difficult class set but in addition to that here you also have college courses college courses which can be more time-consuming so I think here you obviously work a little bit harder and you have to kind of balance your academic life how do you think these classes will support your future College Jordan I think it will definitely give me a boost up in my college career because obviously you have your associate's degree but you have experience talking to professors you have experience in class in academic writing what have you observed about the relationship between different class levels in this program difference in age difference but I feel like here is a special case of like all the classes get along with each other pretty well and in addition to that underclassmen ever needed help from an upperclassman we are totally here to help we've been in that situation before and how do you feel the student-to-faculty relationship is a very good relationship with our staff here obviously we have class smaller smaller classes which definitely house but in addition even when you're an upperclassman the stuff is always here to help I know that if I ever needed anything I could go to a staff member now and they would definitely help me thank you for considering.
