Student Norms

Each year our students work to create norms for their interactions in the classroom and for the work they do each day.  Student developed norms allow students to have input and ownership in the environment they create and work within at school. Norms are posted throughout the school and students sign off on agreed upon norms in seminar classes. Norms represent not only the expectations we have for the students, but the expectations they have for themselves and each other.

Students also created norms for our three mottos/themes for the year.  These include:

1. The 5 R's (Rigor, Relevance, Relationships, Responsibility, Respect)

2. Work Hard - Play Nice

3. Be One Degree Different
